A Universal Language
“The oneness of language, namely that a universal language shall be adopted which shall be taught by all the schools and academies of the world. A committee appointed by national bodies shall select a suitable language to be used as a means of communication, and that language shall be taught in all the schools of the world in order that everyone shall need but two languages, his national tongue and the universal language. All will acquire the international language.”

I hope you’ll encourage people to learn and use Esperanto, the planned international language. I’ve used it on my travels for many years.
A good place to start is http://www.lernu.net
Thanks for mentioning Esperanto, created by L. Zamenhof as an international language in the 1880s.
Baha’u'llah and Abdul-Baha both discussed the necessity of an world language to increase globally understanding and communication, by either creating one or choosing one through international agreement or evolution. Bahais have long been students and supporters of Esperanto. I tend to think English has evolved into it, but whether it will prove to be merely a passing lingua franca only time will tell.
The website looks helpful! I’ll check it out!
